BeeThink IP Blocker is a powerful application that allows you to manage your computer Internet traffic, but also can work as anti-spyware/adware. This is done thanks to an IP list and a rules file. The IP list is a modifiable file which can be used in two ways: first, it can allow access to any site but for the ones on the list. Second, it can block all the traffic except for the sites included on the list. You can execute exceptions, e.g. you can open the HTTP and HTTPS protocols only for outgoing connections allowing to download P2P files, browse the web, and protect you computer against incoming attacks at the same time.
On the other hand, the rules file allows you to control different protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP ARP, and RARP. Also, you can control the direction of connections, control UDP/TCP local and remote ports, and/or control a range of IP addresses. Maybe its most important feature is that BeeThink IP Blocker can be executed as a Windows service - in other words, it can be run in the background as a service, without your having to open its user interface.
